You can book your tour by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can book your tour and pay directly from our home page.
By completing your booking with us, you agree with our terms and we in turn, by accepting your booking, we are obliged to do our best to make your tour with us as enjoyable and safe as humanly possible. We do only accept your booking when paid in full.
We advice all our clients that all adventure trips are undertaken on the responsibility of its participants. Iceland BackCountry Travel does not assume any responsibility for accidents that are caused by natural disaster or any other reason beyond human control, by its customers, or can be traced to their customers actions or negligence. Participants have to sign a liability waiver before undertaking all trips stating that they realize that all outdoor activities carry an inherit risk of injury or death.
With the purchase of your trip you agree to these conditions, understand its implications and accept responsibility for your participation in our tour.
Ibc travel will accept liability for any actions or lack thereoff by its driver guides causing direct physical injury to its passengers only to the extent that is obliged under icelandic law. Should any disagreement arise, this will be settled in Iceland, according to Icelandic law.
In order to ensure our customers utmost safety, Ibc Travel reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or timetables due to unforeseen reasons, such as weather or road conditions. Bear in mind that this is Iceland and that weather conditions can change very rapidly. Especially during the winter months.
The estimated duration of our tours are subject to change due to adverse conditions or other unforeseeable reasons.
By providing your email address, you agree to us giving your email to tripadvisor so that they can send you a review request on our behalf. We strive to make our services as good as possible and your review is an important tool for us to improve.
The company or its authorized retailers cannot be held responsible for losses or additional expenses that our customers may face due to any delays because of force majeure or any other unforeseeable reasons.

For trips of more than one day, you get 90% refund if cancelled 30 days or more before departure, 14- 29 days you get 50% refund, 14 days or less, no refund will be given.
For day trips and shorter trips, you get 90% refund if you cancel your trip 15 days or more before departure, 8-14 days you get 50% refund, 7 days or less, no refund will be given.
If we need to cancel your trip and you do not wish to accept our offer of a trip at a later date or another trip of the same standard, you will get full refund. This does not apply if we need to cancel your trip because of reasons beyond our control.
Drugs and alcohol.
Customers that we believe are under excessive influence of drugs or alcohol and whose conduct or manner is likely to cause upset or put other customers in danger, risk being refused participation in our tours. No refund will be given and they will be charged for any expenses their behavior may cost the company or their customers.
It goes without saying that good personal insurance policy is a must and is mandatory when you take part in adventurous tours and expeditions like ours. We also recommend that you get travel insurance to cover your losses if you have to cancel your trip for some reason.
